
The Ministry of Defence, in compliance with the legislation governing the URPs establishment and functioning as well as the Public Administration’s communication activities, set up the Offices for the Relations with the Public or similar structures called "Points of contact".
URPs and Points of contact are based on transparency, simplification and accessibility, and are conceived as a link between Administration and citizens.
They are responsible for:
- Securing the right of access to documents;
- Giving information about the functioning of the administration and the services offered;
- Promoting administrative simplification and streamlining of procedures;
- Handling complaints and reports, forwarding them to competent offices and monitoring their follow-up;
- Providing information about the services offered and how to access them;
- Periodically detecting users’ needs and monitoring their degree of satisfaction;
- Constantly updating the Ministry website as regards the aspects within their competence.
